Tire and Lube Technician

We are looking for a Tire and Lube Technician to join our team Full time and Part time availability. You will be working alongside seasoned automotive technicians performing tire installations and lube bay duties which include oil changes, filter replacements and fluid replacements. This is a great opportunity for future career advancement on the way to becoming a journeyman automotive technician. We are looking for someone who is reliable, responsible and eager to become an active member of an already great service team. Some experience is an asset but not a prerequisite.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Inspect vehicle for mechanical damage and safety defects.
- Perform tire installations.
- Repair tires.
- Oil and Filter changes.
- Replace worn parts and finish work with an air compressor.
- Maintain equipment and tools.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Communicate with Service Manager and other team members to provide exceptional service.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, standards, and quality system standards.
- Adhere to safety procedures, including the use of safety equipment such as safety goggles, safety boots, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Ability to read technical documents such as technical manuals, schematics, etc.
- Ability to write clean technical documents such as technical manuals, schematics, etc.
- Ability to follow directions from Service Manager and other managers.
- Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
- Ability to use common shop equipment such as lathes, grinders, planers, drills, etc.
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction, division, and multiplication.

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
