**Position Summary**:
As the Day-to-Day Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the smooth and efficient operations of Pickering Event Centre. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of daily operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, coordinating event logistics, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise day-to-day operations, including event setup, guest services, and facility maintenance.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless execution of events, including catering, audiovisual, and housekeeping.
- Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure a highly motivated and productive team.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor event budgets and financial transactions, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks to uphold the venue's cleanliness, appearance, and functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in event management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven track record in overseeing day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and inspiring a diverse team.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in event management software and Gsuite.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
