**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Set up brake press machinery by loading appropriate tooling, selecting and installing the correct dies, and adjusting the machine settings according to job specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, or work order to determine the required bend angles, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Position metal workpieces onto the machine bed and align them with the brake press tool using measuring instruments, such as calipers, rulers, or gauges.
- Monitor machine operation, inspect finished parts for quality defects, and make necessary adjustments to maintain product specifications.
- Perform general cleaning tasks and daily inspections to ensure longevity of the brake press machine.
- Report maintenance issues to the direct supervisor or Maintenance Manager as soon as possible.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Maintain accurate production records, including job setups, material usage, and output quantities.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production efficiency and meet productions and deadlines.
- Take inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available and anticipated stock.
- Other related duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous experience as a Brake Press Operator is required.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, or work orders.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and adjustments.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic computer skills for recording production data and accessing work instructions.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Press brake machine: 3 years (preferred)
