**Rate of Pay: $27.11 - $27.712** per hour**

Balmoral Centre provides medically monitored withdrawal management services. Working as part of the interdisciplinary team, the Addiction Crisis Worker provides support and care to clients during withdrawal and stabilization in a residential setting. This position is focussing on supporting the addiction bed implementation pilot.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum two (2) years post secondary education in a Human Services field (eg. addictions, social work, psychology) and/or a combination of addictions training and previous working experience in an addiction field
- Previous experience in Behaviour Management
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with computer-based data entry is an asset
- Ability to work flexible hours is required
- Class "G" driver's licence and adequate insurance
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
