**What **you’ll **do
Leadership:

- Continually motivates team and performance through recognition programs, store conte sts, customer compliments, etc
- Provides mentorship to teams and influences continuous growth, exem plifying FGL’s Leadership Brand
- Communicate in a clear and concise manner to team, leading effective huddles / meetings / coaching sessions, keeping team well inf ormed of pertinent information

Operations:

- Demonstrate and follow up on execution of FGL visual compliance standards, store mai ntenance and pricing standards
- Responsible to deliver annual corporate shrink targets through team education, enforcement of LP and audit standar ds and rigid inventory control
- Ensure processes and systems are followed for the execution of tech shop service programs, including maintena nce and compliance standards
- Create and / or monitor the creation of efficient store weekly scheduling for b oth sales and support functions

Customer Service:

- An ambassador and leader of the customer experience you look to develop relationships with customers and provide mentorship and coaching to your team to ensure the same

Training:

- Coach and develop store and management team, through setting expectations, communication, coaching, feedback and ongoing support
- Create development plans and conducts annual appraisals for management team; support and coach to improve any performance gaps, and conducts o ngoing coaching to improve team
- Complete and hold team accountable to complete requi red training within timeframes
- Develop and leads recruiting and hiring strategy for store, maintains a complete team
- Create succession plans through continuous training and development

**What you bring
- 3-5 years retail experience managing (big box) required ; e xperience as a Customer Service Manager or Store Operations Manager within a Sporting retail environment an asset
- Previous experience mentoring teams and building out daily plans for department and store
- Demonstrated retail math and accounting skills; f undamental computer skills an asset
- Post-Secondary education in Retail Management or Business Administration an asset
