**Position Summary**:
This course will examine the functions and structure of the major components of the Canadian criminal justice system. Students will be introduced to the roles played by various criminal justice organizations in the administration of justice. Topics may include police, criminal courts and trial procedures, sentencing, and corrections.

**Qualifications - Required**: Master’s Degree

**Qualifications - Other**: MA in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a cognate discipline (e.g. sociology/psychology) with a focus on crime or deviance. Work experience in the field is an asset, as is prior teaching experience. (MEd/EdD will not be considered to meet the minimum educational requirement).
