**AWS Data Consultant**

Tecvative Inc is looking to hire AWS Data Consultant. You will have a customer facing role and based on your experience you will help clients in their transformation and migration journey related to Data and Analytics. You will resolve customer challenges and build and implement solutions for customer's Data requirements.

**SKILLS**

You are able to help advise, build and implement clients in the area of suitable AWS data solutions. You have experience building solutions with AWS services and products such as AWS Glue, Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, Data Pipeline, S3, DynamoDB, and the Relational Database Service (RDS), taking into account security by design.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelors/Masters or an equivalent degree
- 5+ years of analytics platform design/implementation/operations
- 3+ years of experience in customer-facing role.
- Understanding of database and analytics technologies in the industry including Relational, and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge on both legacy/on-prem as well as AWS big data solutions
- Knowledge of one or more data replication technologies.
- Knowledge of data migration technologies such as Golden Gate, Attunity, HVR, Shareplex, Informatica, etc.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing platforms, schema design, query tuning and optimization, and data migration and integration.
- Experience of AWS data solutions (ideally proven with certifications) and Analytics presentation layer.
- Experience in deploying Cloud solutions for enterprise customers & experience migrating legacy data solutions to cloud
- Experience with language such as Python, R, Go etc.
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Experience working for multi-national and diversified organizations is a preference

**ADVANTAGOUS SKILLS**
- Knowledge on Apache Hadoop Ecosystem, with tools such as Hadoop Streaming, Spark, Pig and Hive and experience in architecting big data solutions for complex organizations
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing platforms, schema design, query tuning and optimization, and data migration and integration as well as experience of Analytics presentation layer
- Experience in deploying Cloud solutions for enterprise customers, including implementation of best practices for cloud and security on AWS
