Patterson Dental is looking for a determined and resourceful person to join its dynamic merchandise reception team. The employee will receive products and shelve them. The employee may be asked to work as a forklift operator during busy periods. Under the supervision of the team leader, they will execute, according to directions, tasks such as:

- Handles received packages according to predetermined requirements.
- Ensures that received products are shelved.
- Informs supervisor whenever products are non-compliant (incorrect count, damaged items, etc.).
- Keeps their work environment clean.
- Respects the fulfilment centre’s security, maintenance, and cleaning standards.
- Follows and applies loss prevention processes.
- Inputs into computer systems all information relating to the reception of the merchandise.
- Ensures that merchandise is in good condition before shelving.
- Executes other tasks as requested or as necessary.

**Job qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- The applicant must be able to read and to understand the department’s procedures and documentation related to warehouse safety, as well as to follow work instructions within the department.
- Experience as a forklift elevator, of the narrow aisle or stock picker types, is an asset.
- Work experience within a warehouse, preferably in a shipping, order processing, reception or customer service position.
- Very good planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a disciplined and professional manner.
- Detail-oriented and thorough.
- Able to communicate in both French and English.

Patterson Dentaire est à la recherche d’une personne déterminée et débrouillarde afin de compléter son équipe dynamique à la réception des marchandises. L’employé(e) effectuera la réception des produits et la mise en tablettes. L’employé(e) pourrait être appelé(e) à travailler comme cariste lors des périodes achalandées. Sous la responsabilité du chef d’équipe, il ou elle exécutera, selon les informations, des tâches telles que:

- Traiter les colis qui entrent à la réception des marchandises, selon les exigences prédéterminées.
- Assurer la mise en tablettes des produits reçus.
- Aviser le superviseur de la non-conformité des produits (dénombrement, produits endommagés, etc.).
- Garder son environnement de travail propre.
- Respecter les normes de sécurité, d'entretien et de nettoyage du centre de distribution.
- Consigner à l'ordinateur toute l'information relative à la réception des produits.
- S'assurer du bon état de la marchandise avant la mise en tablettes.
- Effectuer d'autres tâches demandées ou requises.

**Formation et compétences**:

- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou l'équivalent, de préférence.
- Expérience en tant qu'opérateur de chariot élévateur de type allée étroite et de type magasinier, un atout.
- Expérience de travail en entrepôt, de préférence.
- Très bon sens de la planification et de l'organisation.
- Capacité de travailler avec rigueur et professionnalisme.
- Être orienté vers la précision et la minutie.
- Capacité à communiquer en français comme en anglais.
