Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor (K-6) to join our team. As a Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students by providing personalized educational support. If you have a passion for teaching and enjoy working with children, we encourage you to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate effectively with students to assess their learning needs and goals
- Develop customized lesson plans and teaching strategies based on individual student requirements
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
- Collaborate with parents and teachers to ensure alignment with classroom curriculum
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress

**Skills**:

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and teachers
- Experience with Google Classroom for Virtual Classes
- Classroom management skills to maintain a productive learning environment
- Tutoring experience with a proven track record of helping students achieve academic success
- Ability to educate and explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Patience and empathy to support students through challenges and setbacks

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 10 per week

**Benefits**:

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

- working with children ages 5 - 12: 1 year (preferred)
