Kromet International Inc. designs & manufactures premium quality aluminum extrusion for the automotive, medical, furniture, lighting, mass transit and appliance industries.

We are currently seeking a **Painter **to join our team.

**Description**:
To manually spray paint component parts, assist in retrieving stock and material handling, to load and unload aluminum and steel parts, clean and hang racks, assist in performing changeovers, clean parts to meet quality and production requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive instruction from supervisor or lead hand.
- Set-up and operate manual paint gun to provide complete paint coverage of Aluminum or steel parts on the conveyor line.
- Visually check product to ensure a finished quality product.
- Manually load and unload racks from a conveyor line in order to maintain flow of component parts through paint process.
- Manually load and unload racks from a burn-off oven and power wash racks.
- Clean and prepare parts for painting process as required.
- Using vacuum and cleaning supplies, clean floor, paint booth, oven and painting equipment, change filters to remove contaminants.
- Complete all required production reports for supervisor.
- Assists other workers in material handling, using forklift to maintain production as required.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Practice and follow all applicable safety regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in a similar position an asset
- Must have strong technical/mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to read and interpret sketches and blue prints.
- Able to multitask in a high pace environment
- Good hand/ eye coordination
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $22.29 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
