Horticulturist

Duties:
- Perform various horticultural tasks on a farm or in a landscape setting
- Use power tools and hand tools to maintain and care for plants, trees, and shrubs
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, pruning, weeding, and fertilizing
- Assist with planting and transplanting of flowers, vegetables, and other plants
- Monitor and control pests and diseases to ensure plant health
- Maintain irrigation systems and ensure proper watering of plants
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscaping projects
- Provide guidance and advice to clients regarding plant selection and care
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in horticulture or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of plant species, growth patterns, and care techniques
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in horticulture
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members

Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
