**About the role**

We’re looking for a **Manager, Finance - Accounts Receivable**, to join our growing team

**What you’ll do here**:

- Contribute to the daily and monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable from Intact Insurance and belairdirect.
- Participate in the annual budget exercise for accounts receivable including monthly analysis of variances and validation of charges.
- Supervise the payment of commissions to brokers including the management of bank accounts and the issuance of checks.
- Manage the entries of accounts receivable in the General Ledger, including those related to inter-company transfers, the reclassification of expenses and cash receipt transactions.
- Supervise other related tasks (management of client payments in Agency bill, refunds to clients, taxes outside Quebec).
- Direct, assist and coach unit manager and employees to help them reach their full potential and ensure adequate succession at all levels.

**What you bring to the table**:

- ** CPA designation - is required**
- Minimum 5-years experience in accounting and accounting standards (IFRS)
- Minimum 5-years experience leading and/or managing a team
- ** Strong user knowledge in Excel - is required**
- Knowledge of P&C insurance industry - asset
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Can work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills, insight and discipline
- Leadership skills, team player, independent and efficient
- bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking and French-speaking colleagues across the country.
