The BACA clinic is a private clinic, offering specialized outpatient services for people with eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. We also help parents and loved ones to accompany their loved ones through this trying time. Using an integrated treatment model, we are able to address all facets of the individual’s life and offer a warm and personalized treatment for clients aged 12 and up.

Our team believes in an individual’s ability to reach full recovery, and we will mobilize all available resources in order to foster hope in the possibility of a full and balanced life free from weight and appearance-related obsessions. Our clinic’s warm and welcoming environment also creates a climate of trust which is ultimately favorable to recovery.

Our multidisciplinary team consists of passionate professionals who thrive in working as a team to help others. In order to provide our clients the best possible service, we also work closely with other treatment providers implicated in their care. We are seeking a psychologist or a psychotherapist who would like to grow with our team and who is also up to the challenge of working with our clientele.

Required Competencies:

- Ability to conduct initial psychological evaluations and provide individual psychotherapy to adults and adolescents
- Ability to conduct psychoeducational and/or support groups

Other Requirements:

- Be a member in good standing with the Ordre des Psychologues de Québec and/or have license permitting you to practice psychotherapy
- Excellent written and spoken English, and basic understanding of French
- Available to work at least 2 to 5 days and at least 1 or 2 evenings per week
- Open to being supervised by a senior member of the team as needed
- Available to participate in weekly team meetings on Tuesdays from 13:30-15:00.
