**Role : Salesforce **QA Analyst (Manual Testing)**

**Duration : 6 months**

**Location : Mississauga (2-3 days onsite)**

**Type: Contract (hybrid remote)**

**Rate : Based on experience
The** QA Analyst (Manual Testing)** would assist the QA team and lead/Manager in the designing and execution of test plans, test cases for new and existing projects. Deep technical skills are required, along with an ability to understand how all pieces fit together and are validated in a complex, distributed system. The right individual will have extensive experience testing enterprise-class system software packages and excellent understanding of SDLC.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for QA documentation creation, review, sign-off (_e.g., test strategies, plans, schedules, cost estimates, test cases, dashboards, defect logs, test phase closure reports, entry/exit criteria_).
- Be familiar with all testing types and principles including but not limited to these phases: Component, ST, SIT, UAT & E2E test cycles.
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end testing using complex queries (SQL) and multiple sets of data.
- Hands-on experience with APIs during all implementation and development phases.
- Actively participate in establishing project plans, estimating work and monitoring progress against milestones.
- Chair daily defect status calls to ensure prompt and thorough documenting, tracking and testing.
- Identify, log, pursue and triage defects collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve seamless delivery.
- Skilled in providing reports on test planning, execution, defects statistics to project team using standard test quality metrics.
- Proficiency in documenting and recording bugs and errors discovered during software testing.
- Act as a QA project lead on assigned tasks as required.
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork and collaboration skills throughout all stages of SDLC.
- Self-starter, with strong analytical skills.
- Be able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
- Support and verify implementations in production environment and run sanity testing.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor or College Degree preferably in Computer Science.
- 8+ years’ of CRM and/or ERP systems working experience, preferably Salesforce CRM product and D365 ERP.
- 8+ years’ of experience as a Software QA Analyst dealing with complicated business flows and concept
- Solid working experience in an Agile Scrum, Waterfall and Hybrid development cycle methodologies.
- Solid SQL knowledge and working experience is a must.
- Knowledge of relational & dimensional database in respect to maintain data quality & pipelines.
- Hands-on experience & skillset with API testing (Soap UI, Postman).
- Strong problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate ability to work well with others in team, also as individual contributor in small & highly accountable development environment.
- Hands on experience with testing tools like JIRA, ALM.
- Experience and understanding of ETL Testing concept.

**Nice to have**:

- Experience with automation tools (preferably Selenium)
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
