House Cleaner/ Yardwork

_The Sooke Region Communities Health Network (SRCHN) is a charitable cooperative that supports healthy lives in healthy communities through innovative, collaborative development and improvement of services for everyone in the Sooke Region. Programs included Better at Home seniors non-medical support, seasonal tax clinic, seniors social and educational activities, transportation, resource information hub and volunteer centre._

The Sooke Region Communities Health Network provides the Better at Home program for seniors 65 and older. We are seeking a caring, organized person to provide cleaning services and some light yard work for our senior client's residing in their homes. This position is part time with the potential for additional hours as we take on more clients. You will be able to arrange your own cleaning appointment times during the day with our clients and maintain your own schedule. Cleaning supplies/equipment are provided by the clients.

**Requirements**:

- A compassionate, discrete, patient, and nonjudgmental attitude towards working with the senior population.
- Ability to pass a PIC (Vulnerable Criminal Record Check)
- Physical ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Experience with housekeeping/cleaning
- Experience with light yardwork
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to schedule own appointments.
- Must be able to reliably commute to job locations on time.
