Fraserway is looking for a for a dynamic Show and Events expert to help us deliver engaging, enriching experiences across a variety of internal and external events to help us set up Fraserway and the leader in RV shows in Canada. These shows are important as they help lift the presence of the industry and are a significant contributor to the Fraserway Foundation, which supports communities across the country.
The Event manager acts as our show specialist and develops the strategy and delivers the events with excellence. This role is accountable and responsible for executing entire show management, and oversight of all aspects of show delivery for MTD Promotions and Fraserway RV Dealerships.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the event manager works closely with the marketing team and each location in planning and managing various events throughout the year.

**JOB DUTIES**:
As a Show and Events expert, you will:

- Help build the vision and strategy for MTD promotions
- Plan, manage and execute shows and events, including overseeing signage, promotion and layout/floor plan mapping, schedules, securing catering and overseeing set-up /dismantling and end-to-end logístical management of the shows/events.
- Develop event budgets to support defined objectives.
- Develop the show KPI’s, measure and manage to these
- Negotiate with event producers and outside vendors to secure space and obtain best value for company investment.
- Develop agency brief with input from internal stakeholders and manage agencies supporting events.
- Coordinate outbound and inbound packing and shipping of displays and other materials.
- Coordinate event attendees, including registering attendees, securing hotel room blocks and establishing and managing booth staffing schedules.
- Support prospectus and contracts development working in coordination with others,during and after events.
- Oversees exhibitor communications and ongoing customer service.
- Coordinate with public relations firms to create promotional campaigns that support our company’s message at the show.
- Identify opportunities for sponsorships with local businesses in order to increase awareness of the event and reach new audiences.
- Radio/TV ad coordination
- Identify and secure relevant and interesting speakers for the show and manage logistics around them.
- Manage contracts and deliverables with Show Venue Owners.
- Evaluate event’s success and submit and present pre and post evaluation reports to management.
- Assisting the marketing department as required.
- Support Fraserway Foundation with any event and PR activities leveraging existing network and stakeholder groups where relevant.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 3-5+ years of experience planning and executing Business to Business (B2B) Consumer, Corporate and Internal events;
- Consumer Show experience required
- Strong knowledge of best practices in show and event execution
- Collaborative mindset to establish good working relationships with cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Capability of managing multiple projects in parallel
- Self-discipline, proactive, and punctuality
- Strong Negotiating skills
- Willing to travel for events.
