À propos du rôle

Ce poste occasionnel sur appel est une occasion exceptionnelle de devenir membre de l'équipe de Granville Island, où vous travaillerez avec l'équipe de conciergerie pour vous assurer que Granville Island est bien entretenue et respecte des normes élevées de propreté, d'assainissement et de réparation. La personne retenue sera embauchée comme aide-serveur et pourra être appelée à couvrir également les quarts du poste de préposé, Nettoyage et entretien et, dans ce cas, sera rémunérée aux taux correspondant à ces postes.

Étant donné que Granville Island est accessible sept jours par semaine, vous devez être disposé à travailler selon un horaire variable, y compris le soir et la fin de semaine. En tant que travailleur sur appel, il n'y a aucune garantie quant au nombre mínimal d'heures de travail.

**Salaire**:
17,99$ de l'heure + primes de poste

**Primes de poste**:
+2,75 % à toutes les heures travaillées
+2,20 $ de l'heure pour les heures travaillées entre 16 h et 8 h et toutes les heures travaillées la fin de semaine.
+1,90 $ de l'heure pour les heures travaillées entre 16 h et 8 h le week-end.

**Responsabilités**:
Représenter la SCHL et Granville Island de façon professionnelle et courtoise;
Fournir de l'information aux consommateurs et aux locataires, au besoin (c. à d. répondre à des questions sur les objets perdus, indiquer le chemin);
Débarrasser les tables dans trois aires de repos du marché public;
Balayer et/ou passer un balai à franges sec dans les aires de repos du marché public et passer un balai humide au besoin;
Balayer et surveiller les cours extérieures durant la journée;
Organiser l'aire d'entreposage du recyclage et préparer les bacs pour la cueillette.

**Qualifications essentielles**:
Expérience en service à la clientèle;
Connaissance des mesures de sécurité conformément aux règlements de la Commission des accidents du travail et du Code canadien du travail;
Intervention en cas d'urgence, pourrait être le premier à se trouver sur les lieux (blessure, enfant perdu, vol) et il pourrait devoir appeler des secours;
Capacité d'adaptation au changement et d'initiative au besoin;
Connaissance des dangers d'un environnement marin et capacité de travailler dans un tel environnement.

**Qualifications privilégiées**:
Avoir un certificat en entretien des immeubles;
Certificat SIMDUT.
