Parker Mitsubishi is looking for an experienced full time **Preowned Vehicle Acquisition & Inventory Specialist **to join our growing Auto Group You will be responsible for acquiring/purchasing used car inventory from Third Parties. **Your Day to Day**:

- Identify, evaluate, & acquire vehicles daily from Online auctions, fleet providers & dealerships
- Manage inventory of vehicles purchased for resale
- Analyze inventory profitability, sales volume, & new sources of vehicle supply
- Monitor wholesale trends in the automotive market in Canada
- Maintain accurate daily/weekly/monthly & on demand reporting that reflects activities associated with wholesale buying
- Travel as needed to buying events including weekly auctions, if necessary

**What You Bring to the Table**:

- Minimum 1 year automotive industry experience required
- 1 year used sales and/or buying/appraising experience preferred
- Ability to quickly adopt new technologies
- Knowledge of automotive laws that govern wholesale/retail automobile sales & ensures wholesale program is compliant
- Valid Driver’s License & a safe driving record is require
- OMVIC Certification

Utilize our software & systems to identify desired vehicles
Develop relationships with vehicle sellers including private sellers, leasing companies, rental agencies and auctions.
Provide analysis on wholesale and retail opportunities
Monitor & report market trends
Knowledge of which cars to pursue and what wholesale price to pay to ensure acceptable profitability at both retail and wholesale levels.
Review pending appraisal entries for used car manager to uncover lost opportunities

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
