The Title Coordinator acts as a support partner by being the primary contact for issues regarding vehicle titles, managing all post-sale activity, verifying accuracy and ensuring compliance in any and all questionable or problematic title documents. Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies, procedures, and applicable provincial laws are followed at all times. The Title Coordinator is responsible for providing weekly reports to consignors, assisting with title processing, ensuring that titles are processed within our service level agreements.

The Title Coordinator collaborates with various departments regarding titles as well as post sale operations and reports directly to the Titles Supervisor.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Works cases daily.
- Assists Title Clerks with title processing.
- Keep all Title Clerks and Sales Representatives informed of any problem titles.
- Escalates any unresolved issues in a timely fashion.
- Focus on achieving prompt resolution of title problems with our client and/or buyers.
- Prepares weekly reports for our clients showing title status.
- Request duplicate titles if and when needed according to company policy.
- Manage all issues and see them through completion.
- Achieve return of title on voided sales in a timely fashion to reduce loss to seller.
- Overcoming difficult objections and turning into positive solutions for all parties.
- Assist with keeping SOP documentation/training manuals up to date
- Scans titles into electronic format.
- Creates shipping label, packages, seals, and sends titles to buyers daily via Courier.
- Ensures titles are delivered to the correct purchasing dealer and/or buyer.
- Files titles that are awaiting payment into secured fireproof title cabinet.
- Assist in training of title clerks.
- Assists Management with reporting, audits, title updates and/or phone calls.
- Maintain all working area conditions and equipment to ensure they are within corporate standards for cleanliness, proper maintenance and safety.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned.

**Education and Qualification Requirements**:

- Superb customer service skills, attention to detail, time management and ability to problem solve.
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately distinguish between numbers and letters and alphabetize.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must exhibit strong team player attributes with the ability to multi-task and prioritize as well as work independently.
- Must type have strong typing skills.
- Two years of experience in data entry or title work required with automotive experience preferred.
- General automotive knowledge an asset
- Conflict resolution and customer service skills required.
- High School Diploma or GED required with some college preferred.
