**Duties**:

- Learn OMAC's school curriculum, including forms and self-defense, as well as WT Kukkiwon regulated poomsae
- Adhere to the class structure by operating fun and applicable warm-up segments and/or kicking technique segments
- Lead Taekwondo classes
- Address a large group of students with ease
- Provide positive reinforcement to all students
- Motivate students to improve at each rank
- Provide adequate feedback to each student so as to ensure their improvement
- Enforce school policies and boundaries where applicable
- Works to create a strong team with Instructors and Masters
- Assist with after school and camp programmes (ex: crafts, games, field trips)
- Supervise children and ensure safety
- Drive the after school van

Preferred qualifications:

- Vulnerable Sector Check required for employment
- WT Taekwondo black belt, or black belt of another martial art
- volunteer or paid teaching experience
- G Class driver's license
- Thrives in a team dynamic
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks
- Independent and self-motivated
- Strong communication skills
- Strong emphasis on positive customer interactions
- Ability to connect with students and families to develop strong relationships
- Reliable and accountable
- Excels in a work environment with children
- Uses critical thinking to develop a structured lesson plan
- Open to learning new skills
- Evening and weekend availability

**Requirements**:

- First Aid certification
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Background Check
