Landscaping Crew Lead

**Key Duties**
- Planning, coordinating and supervising tasks.
- Perform general maintenance on both residential and commercial properties.
- Keep records of time and tasks on properties.
- Communicate with clients when necessary.
- Driving crew members to all properties.

**Key Skills**
- Experience leading a team environment and interacting with clients.
- Experience in garden maintenance and alterations, landscaping, tree planting or equivalent.
- Experience using power tools (hedger, line trimmer, mower, blower, chainsaw, power rake, sod cutter, etc.).
- Knowledge installing landscaping fabric, installing gravel, installing borders, creating steps, laying sod, etc.
- Knowledge with plant identification.
- Knowledge with pruning.
- Able to climb 16’ orchard ladders.
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Effective time management skills.
- Familiar with the maintenance, alterations and repair of irrigation systems an asset, but not required.
- Some on-the-job training is expected.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent English language and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- A valid driver license and clean driving record.
- A commitment to a safe work environment.

**Work Schedule**
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Some workdays will vary

**Salary**: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirements
- French not required
- Spanish an asset but not required

Work Location: we start and finish the day in Langford.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
