- **Job Summary**_
Independently, the Employee Benefits Sales Advisor assesses the needs of clients and helps them by offering group benefits and insurance solutions. They provide group clients with solutions to reward, protect, and retain their valuable employees. Benefits Sales Advisors rely on their education, knowledge of group benefits, insurance solutions, and people skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- **Primary Responsibilities and Duties**_**
- Grow and maintain a client base.
- Advise potential clients, and gather information needed to develop a group benefits plan.
- Generate, track, manage, and successfully close on prospective leads
- Answer client questions about group plans and strategies and giving sound advice pertaining to benefit options.
- Effectively communicate appointments and schedule changes to support staff
- Effectively communicate changes in prospecting for potential group clients to both administrative staff and executive management
- Analyze data received from clients to develop strategies for meeting clients' benefit coverage goals.
- Contact clients regularly to discover any changes or improvements that could be made to their plans.
- Updating licenses and education as required by industry standards
- Manage and update client portfolios as needed in the Customer Relationship Management software.
- Maintain files in accordance with Integrated Benefit Solutions policy and procedures.
- Work with business to business contacts to help secure clients for Integrated Benefit Solutions
- Attending public relations events and networking on behalf of the company

- A Life License Qualification Program Certification (LLQP)
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- A positive, can do attitude
- Errors and Omissions Insurance
- A strong drive to achieve set goals
- Continuing Education credits must be kept up to date
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent people skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- A strong sense of discretion and professionalism
- Strong people skills
- Knowledge of insurance, investments, and group benefits
