**POSITION**:
MIMOSA is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Intern to join our dynamic team and make impactful contributions to our growing remote health platform. As a Manufacturing Intern, you'll assist in various manufacturing tasks, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Responsibilities include supporting inspections, optimizing processes and managing inventory. This internship offers hands-on experience, diverse projects, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. If you're eager to make an impact in manufacturing, we welcome you to join our team.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Aid in manufacturing medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Assist in inspecting products and proposing improvements to manufacturing processes.
- Manage shipments, inventory, and packaging for storage and distribution.
- Support quality control processes and perform product testing.
- Help maintain inventory levels and organize materials for orders.
- Assist in accurately preparing and shipping customer orders.
- Address customer inquiries promptly for satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist in creating manuals and training materials.
- Support engineering changes and new product introductions.
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement efforts.
**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Strong interest in manufacturing processes, technology, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or technical environment is a plus but not required.
- Works well independently, as well as collaborates effectively with their team.
- Self-directed, someone who looks for feedback and collaboration.
