Seeking experienced, professional drivers with DZ-class licence for local deliveries, loading and unloading - commercial office furniture.

Clean driver's abstract and CVOR required. Satisfactory police background check (CPIC) required upon offer of position. Additional security clearances may be required once on staff (per project). Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

**Terms of Employment**:Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening

**Salary: $ 24.00 per hour**; commensurate with experience; 40.00 Hours per week

**Anticipated Start Date**:As soon as possible

**Skill Requirements**

**Education**:Completion of high school

**Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)**:Driver's Licence (Class 3 or D)

**Experience**: 3 years

**Languages**:English, French

**Type of Trucking and Equipment**:Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles), Van, Pickup Truck

**Type of Travel**:Local

**Documentation Knowledge**:Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports

**Communication Equipment Experience**:Cellular phone, Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment

**Weight Handling**:Up to 45 kg (100 lbs), physically fit

**Specific Skills**:Operate and drive straight and small trucks or vans to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Plan travel schedules and routes, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Drive lighter, special purpose trucks, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
