**Position Overview**:
Provide phone and onsite Technical Support to our on-site maintenance and repair service team for DN customers. Experienced and knowledgeable on assigned products including safes / chests, vaults, safe deposit boxes, after-hours depository, mechanical and electronic locks, general locksmithing, vacuum air tubes - including under-counter teller equipment - and security vestibules. Responds to all Support Calls with the urgency they require.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Serves as a senior level Service Support Specialist
- Works with customers and/or fellow team members to analyze complex problems and perform detailed needs assessments
- Support advanced level service on various products, including safes / chests, vaults, safe deposit boxes, after-hours depository, mechanical and electronic locks, multivendor VAT systems, etc.
- Provides technical guidance to help others resolve issues and determine the root cause, helping insure non-recurrence
- Recommends and helps implement service and process improvement procedures

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 year vault, safe, lock maintenance and troubleshooting experience required
- Proven track record of more than 1 year Service Technician with banking/retail experience
- Successfully completed education in IT- or mechatronic/electronic-related profession
- In individual cases it is possible to assign the job to an employee, if the essential professional knowledge is acquired by work experience
- Product knowledge of relevant industry and basic ITIL skills preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads, stand most of the day, climb, bend and stoop while working on equipment
- Acceptance of exposure to the outside elements
- Shift adaptability, which would include an on call rotation for evenings and weekends
- Ability to organize and inventory Lock Shop parts and tools
- Ability to pass MVR, background and drug test where required
- Locksmith Certification / TQ preferred for Provinces that are regulated
- Vocational/Trade School preferred
