**The Opportunity**

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prepare motors and parts for shipment as per customer and internal requirements.
- Prepare documentation such as waybills, bills of lading, customs invoices and associated documentation, labels and other paperwork as required for shipments inbound and outbound from Canada, the USA and international countries.
- Receive motors and parts, record all information from motors and parts received, note any special requirements or information and transcribe the information obtained to the incoming and receiving form.
- Perform pick-ups and/or deliveries, as required, to and from customer and vendor facilities.
- Load and unload various transporting vehicles, enclosed and flatbed types.
- Transport and move equipment to and from storage facilities
- Receive incoming parts, supplies and materials as required.
- **Operate DZ trucks, forklift trucks, hand pallet trucks and/or other material handling equipment to load, unload, transport and store motors and associated parts and equipment**:

- Ensure all motors, associated parts and equipment are packaged, fastened, protected and covered appropriately for transporting containers, crates and skids.
- Perform daily inspections of the company vehicles, ensuring all fluid levels are maintained, lights, mirrors, steering and brakes are functioning properly and that the general operation of the vehicles meets worthy road standards, making notes and immediately reporting any problems or damage and completing the necessary paperwork to comply with DOT standards.
- This position requires you to be on call, after hours and on off days, to respond to logistics or custom issues. Additionally, a company communication device will be issued.
- Support Public Relations and Customer Service efforts, including generating additional business when on calls.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal operating instructions
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

- **Must have a valid DZ driver's license or be working towards one and have a clean commercial driver’s abstract.**:

- Minimum one year experience as a truck driver, shipper and receiver in a related industry
- Full professional proficiency in English is required
- Experience in operating Forklift Trucks or a valid Forklift License is preferred
- A team player who has the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision when required

**Job Location**: Highway 7 and Jane area. Less than 10 minutes walk from Vaughn Metropolitan Center TTC Subway station.
