We have tremendous opportunities for driven leaders looking for a high-energy career. **The State Group is seeking a Buyer I in the industrial/electrical construction industry to work in our Mississauga, Ontario Division, reporting to the Purchasing Manager.**

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Responsible for sourcing electrical material, equipment services and managing vendors in specific project areas across multiple projects.
- Work with Project Manager and project team upon the award of the project to ensure all ordered materials are delivered to the job site in a quality and timely manner.
- Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure the correct equipment, material and subcontractor services are ordered and/or purchased.
- Coordinate purchase order submission and approval process, follow with delivery schedule of major equipment with the project team.
- Ensure material orders are placed and tracked to ensure timeliness of delivery.
- Data entry of purchase orders

**WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM**
- 2+ years of construction purchasing, estimating, or other relevant experience in the electrical or construction field.
- High School Diploma.
- Proficient with MS Excel and purchasing database systems.
- Ability to clearly communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
