**Position: Apprentice Automotive Technician - Level 1/2**

**Classification: Full Time, Onsite**

In the Apprentice/ Lube Technician role, you will play a crucial role in terms of the customer experience in conducting maintenance procedures to determine vehicle repair requirements and providing accurate recommendations to our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performs Oil & filter change
- Perform complete multi-point inspection on vehicle & check & mark all required items on check list as required & present findings to the Service Advisor
- Diagnose issues such as noises, leaks, etc.
Perform vehicle repairs/parts replacement if qualified
- Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary
- Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants
- Tire mounting/balancing, rotations and repairs
- Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts
- Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor
- Documents all work performed on the repair order
- Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by service manager
- Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean
- Notifies Service Advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle
- Keeps shop area neat and clean
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Other tasks as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Level 1 or 2 Apprentice training
- Familiarity working with ADP and CDK programs is considered an asset
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Efficient problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and ability to use power and hand-held equipment
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Must possess a valid PROVINCE driver's license and a safe driving history
