- Hourly rate of pay $22.87 to $26.14

**What you will be doing**:

- Measure for fit, alter and repair uniforms for hotel employees
- Issue, exchange and stock uniforms
- Sew items as requested by all departments in the hotel
- Repair garments as requested by guests
- Regular inventory and maintenance of all uniforms
- Regular inventory of sewing supplies
- Assist with day to day operations of linen room
- Receive and process and launder guests and staff laundry and dry cleaning
- Liaise with contracted laundry services
- Ensure linen room is clean and free of safety hazards
- Ensuring excellent guest service standards are maintained for both the internal and external guest
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:
**Your experience and skills include**:

- A minimum of 2 years recent experience (in the last five years) as a tailor in an establishment demanding high volume and excellent quality workmanship
- Must successfully complete a practical component demonstrating required skills
- Proficiency using a computer; including the MS Office programs
- Impeccable grooming and presentation
- Completely fluent English language skills; both written and verbal
- Clear, precise, professional and helpful telephone manner
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
- High level of responsibility and commitment and able to maintain up-to-date, accurate records
- Teamplayer with proven success in relationship building
- Demonstrated commitment to provide excellent service and exceed guests' expectations

Additional Information
**Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to)**: Frequent standing and walking. Occasional bending and kneeling. Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20lbs. Occasional pushing and pulling.
