Creative & Passionate Lower Elementary Teacher - Is this you?

We are seeking a fully-qualified Elementary educator with a passion for teaching young learners.

The applicant must be able to work in a team environment specializing in Kindergarten to grade 3 learners n an emotionally nurturing and intellectually challenging learning environment. Montessori experience and/or training is not necessary but the ability to engage learners in hands-on learning and a project driven curriculum is required.

The position requires the ability to program plan with peers to provide an inclusive program that focuses on whole child development as well as offer positive child guidance techniques and supervision.

BC Teacher Certification (COQ) or Independent School Teaching Certification

knowledge of the environmental factors needed to create nurturing, stimulating learning experiences that support the whole child;
the ability to and experience with team teaching and collaborative planning;
some experience/knowledge/training with gifted and/or students with exceptionalities such as autism and ADHD.

A life-long love of learning, flexibility and a sense of humour is essential.
