Professional Dog Handler

Wolf In Winter is a respected Dog Walking/ Dog Training operation based in Sidney, BC.

Please read description completely to understand that we are hiring for someone interested and capable of walking multiple dogs in a pack hiking environment.

We operate a very busy Dog Pack Hiking operation that involves picking up and dropping off our client dogs in climate controlled minivans and taking them on Adventure pack walks on our fenced Private Acreage.

We are looking for a new team member with a love of and understanding of how to work with dogs in your care. Your previous background in Dog Walking, Pet Care, Farm life, working with horses is helpful. An intuitive understanding of Dogs is a prerequisite for this position. Previous work in a veterinary or dog handling/training environment is an asset.

Primarily looking for a part/full Time Dog Handler, which requires experience, skill and the ability to manage many dogs in your control and care at one time. Experience preferred but willing to train the right person. Ability and experience dog training may be helpful. Pet First Aid helpful.

We have acres of fenced private property for our dog walking activity which is both on and off leash.

Your ability to do Pet Check-Ins, nail trims or other related services is helpful. A back ground in Veterinary services or other animal related work is also helpful.

Must have valid FULL Drivers license, (not an "N" license", pass a background check. Must be an experienced and extremely safe driver. Must be physically fit.
