Ndt Inspector

**Title: NDT Inspector**

Access Welding & Coating Inspections LTD. (AWCIL), Chilliwack, BC. Is currently looking for a Multi-discipline NDT Inspector in any of the following methods:
**Qualifications**:
Minimum Work Experience: 1-2 years

Must be certified in at least 2 methods:

- CGSB UT / MT / PT Level 2 and
- CWB weld inspector Level 2 or 3 and or
- NACE Coating inspector Level 2 or 3

*Combination of CGSB UT, MT and CWB level 2 preferred.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Performs in field specific NDT processes following specifications and internal procedures
- Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects)
- Follow techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection
- Completes and maintains all required report/paperwork
- Able to use applicable tools and measuring instruments
- Ensure a complete understanding of the applicable codes and standards.
- Ensure conformity to the requirements of the CWB, ASME, CSA Inspection, etc.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations

**Required Skills**:

- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability prepare reports using computer once the inspection completed.
- Advanced computer literacy: i.e. Microsoft office.
- Valid Driver’s License & clean Driver’s Abstract
- May require heavy lifting (approximately 50lbs).
- Interpret drawings, prints, and customer purchase order data

**Compensation and Benefits**:
Salary for this position is based on experience and increases with experience and education completed. The company offers a comprehensive educational reimbursement program which allows for those with experience to achieve certifications required for this position.

**Schedule**:

- Flexible hour / morning shift / afternoon shift
- On call
- Occasional weekend and overtime

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $45.25-$60.78 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Chilliwack, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
