Veterinary Technician

Ensure that students are following proper protocols, rules and safe processes for the administration of medications, feeding, cleaning and care of animals when on Kennel Duty;
- Assist the veterinarian with the administration of vaccines and the medical care of animals and ensure that animal care records are maintained accurately; and - Perform light cleaning duties. What you will need to be considered: - 2-year diploma from Veterinary Sciences Technician program; preferably a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (RVT); and - Minimum (2) years of practical experience working as a member of a team practicing professional level communications and animal care in a veterinary hospital setting.
