As one of Canada's Platinum Best Managed Companies, we are a driven organization that is looking for a safety and detail-oriented Warehouse Sanitation Technician to join our team This position will report to the Operations Manager to ensure the warehouse is kept clean of garbage, debris, and clutter. As directed the Sanitation Worker will maintain a regular cleaning schedule of the warehouse, complete work requests and general upkeeping. You will ensure product is handled properly, complying with health & safety standards.

MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to safely bend, twist and lift to 50 lbs.
- Good command of written and oral English
- Experienced in operating a power jack / forklift ideal
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required is mandatory
- Ability to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shift.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment.
- Food Safe Level 1 (FDP to Provide).
- Hepatitis A Vaccination (FDP to Provide).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all areas of the warehouse are maintained to the highest standards and a regular schedule, including sweeping the warehouse floor, pulling pallets, and sweeping behind racking, emptying garbage and food waste bins, and general housekeeping
- Complete sanitation checklists, follow SOPs, and provide feedback to supervisor on deficiencies or non-compliance issues
- Must understand and work within all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), policies and procedures
- Must be able to work with chemicals and follow proper procedures
- Operate or perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor/Operations Manager
