As a Consulting Arborist, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice and guidance to our clients, ensuring the health, safety, and preservation of trees within the urban environment. **Responsibilities**:

- Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations of tree health, structural stability, and overall condition
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on tree care, maintenance, and preservation strategies
- Provide quotes for Consulting Services to prospective clients
- Prepare comprehensive reports and written documentation for clients, including tree risk assessments, tree preservation plans, and arboricultural impact assessments
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and municipalities to ensure compliance with arboricultural guidelines, bylaws, and regulations
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, research, and best practices in arboriculture
- Educate clients and the public on the importance of tree care and conservation

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or a related field
- Certified Arborist designation (ISA Certification preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Consulting Arborist or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of tree biology, pathology, and identification
- Proficient in conducting tree risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation measures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to clients and stakeholders
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Proficient in using arboricultural software, GIS mapping tools, and other relevant technology
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and practices
