Bartender

**Howlers Bartender & Day Staff**

Howlers is the NWP students’ lounge run by the Students’ Association of Northwestern Polytechnic. We offer affordable food and drink focused on NWP students. We will be open Monday to Wednesday 11:00am - 7:00pm and Thursday to Friday 11:00am - 10:00pm during the College year from September to June. We are hiring a person to be part of a small team to look after the day to day operations of Howlers.

**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Howlers Coordinator and/or Executive Director, this dynamic role requires a self-motivated individual who will be responsible for working with the Howlers Coordinator, and maintaining the bar in the evenings.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Deliver excellent guest experience
- Clean up bar, and lounge during slow times
- Food Service duties including, preparing and serving the very limited menu items
- Drink service duties include bartending and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Work with the Howlers Coordinator to help set up events
- Responsible for cash out at the end of shift

Temporary part time position, approximately 8-20 hours per week, depending on availability and class schedules this position ends at the end of the academic year. The wage is $15 per hour plus tips.
