**The Opportunity**:

If this sounds like you, keep reading As a Supply Management Analyst at Canadian Natural, you will be responsible for supporting the operational activities of Canadian Natural’s Conventional and Thermal production.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Create, administer and close out Contracts for Asset Retirement (Well & Pipeline Abandonments, Reclamation and Remediation) Operations including change orders and amendments as required
- Issue RFx’s
- Establish and maintain auditable files for all contracts to ensure proper documentation is in place and can be referred to if needed
- Contribute to vendor development and more specifically supplier relationship management programs
- Analyze and provide marketplace research and data analysis
- Develop and submit reports and other metrics as and when required, such as spend evaluation and cost comparisons
- Drive results under tight timelines and track action items, while working with key internal stakeholders

**Other Details**:

- Job location: Calgary, Alberta
- Shift schedule: 5x2 - Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day
- We are actively recruiting for both permanent and temporary positions on the team
- Temporary positions are for a period of 12 months

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Typically 2+ years of contract management experience with a university degree or related post-secondary education
- Desire to pursue or completion of a Supply Chain Management Professional designation is considered an asset
- Practical experience with contract development, including exposure to negotiating contract terms and conditions
- Experience with contract management systems and/or JD Edwards
