**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Baccalaureate degree in Applied Human Nutrition or Baccalaureate of Science or equivalent from an accredited university, and completion of an accredited Dietetic Internship Program.
- Current Registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario required.
- Membership with the Dietitians of Canada is an asset.
- 2 years of recent experience in the past 3 years in an acute care setting required.
- Experience providing nutrition care for hemodialysis patients required.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in comprehensive nutrition assessments, including implementing and monitoring nutrition care plans.
- Extensive working knowledge of prescribing and monitoring Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition in the past 2 years required.
- Previous experience working with Oncology dietetics is an asset.
- Recent experience with group and individual nutrition counseling required.
- Participation in continuing education programs/courses to enhance related professional knowledge is required.
- Excellent organizational, critical thinking, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-directed; flexible; and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Supportive of departmental goals and objectives, demonstrating initiative to promote total quality improvement.
- Consistent and regular attendance required.
- Proficient in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset.
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
