Baker/cook

**Baker/Cook Responsibilities**:

- Following recipes precisely and consistently
- Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as cupcakes, cookies, bread, cakes, squares, scones, tarts, Donuts, etc.
- Decorating and displaying finished products.
- Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
- Ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
- Prepping for sandwiches including breakfast sandwiches on the grill

**Baker Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bakers education preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial/baker's kitchen
- Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills.
- Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products.
- Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create amazing baked goods.
- Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability.
- Able to use time efficiently and multitask to ensure products are prepared quickly as possible.

Schedule:

- Day shift (early morning shift)
- Every Saturday including some somedays
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Baking: 2 years (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
