We are looking for a partner for our Almonte Baptist Church family, a church that has a family atmosphere and works well together to adhere to our mission statement. “To love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind, and to love our neighbours as our self.” The individual must be a self-starter, able to work independently, dependable, flexible, have good communication skills, good time management and organizational skills.
Past Church admin experience is an asset.
The position of Communications and Organization Provider supports the staff and volunteers of Almonte Baptist Church, enabling them to do their jobs and fulfill their ministries. Key duties include coordination of church communications, management of assigned office functions including, data base management, office file management, coordinating with finance team/ book keeper, lead teams and Pastor to manage data and paper information. This person will improve church productivity by implementing procedures and making effective use of technology while being a team player with excellentcommunication skills. Previous experience in

- Present a calm welcoming presence while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. Understands and performs the duties of the position in keeping with the mission of the congregation.
Coordination of communications

WEEKLY /As Needed
- Send agendas for congregational meetings to those involved and minutes to those same individuals from that meeting. Send weekly reminders to volunteers scheduled for upcoming Sunday Service Maintain the church’s website content, creates new page as assigned

- Print Sunday school prep. For the following Sunday.
Monthly
- Coordinate with Church Properties overseers EG. Ordering supplies for bathrooms, coffee etc.
Annually
- Organize AGM Booklet : making sure all required reports are received, organized, photocopied and distribute to all members
As Required
- Post for volunteer Positions that need to be filled - Update and maintain police checks as required. Send reminder letters to existing and new volunteers as needed
- Complete member transfers
- Provide input for improvements to systems and organization to help volunteers to work better instead of harder.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $16.55-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
