**Plumbing Apprenticeship at Ashton**
At Ashton, we understand the importance of supporting students in gaining crucial firsthand experience in the trades. As such, we have been a proud ITA BC sponsor and advocate for the trades for over 25 years.
Ashton is currently sponsoring **11 apprentices** in the Plumber Apprenticeship program and have recommended over 40 apprentices for certification.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist journeyman technicians in service and installation
- Assist in properly staging jobs and adhering to quality and safety checklists
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried company vehicles
- Ability to work alone for advanced apprentices
- Participate actively in all formal exercises and training to master your trade
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Minimum 1-year experience as a plumbing apprentice
- Experience in Construction plumbing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be physically fit for labour intensive work
- Class 5 driver’s license with a clean, safe record
- Able to commute daily to our job site in White Rock
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
**Salary**: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
