**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Customer Care: Provide unwavering support to our existing customer base, ensuring their satisfaction and success.
- Hunter Mentality: Actively prospect and identify new accounts, forging strong relationships and expanding our customer network in both Academia and B2B environments.
- Goal Achievement: Meet and/or exceed sales and lead generation goals on a quarterly and yearly scale.
- Client Engagement: Meet with existing and prospective clients to deeply understand their needs, objectives, and constraints.
- Scientific Expertise: Leverage your profound knowledge of molecular biology, including DNA/RNA purification, PCR, cloning, and sequencing, to assist customers in achieving their scientific goals.
- Technical Proficiency: Maintain a solid technical grasp of our products to effectively guide customers in their endeavors.
- CRM Management: Keep our CRM system up to date with valuable insights on customer laboratory practices and market intelligence.
- Administrative Excellence: Handle administrative tasks efficiently, such as generating quotes and processing orders.
- Technical Support: Provide essential technical support to Norgen Biotek customers.
- Reporting: Submit all required reports promptly.
- Adaptability: Embrace any additional duties as assigned by management.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Biology. An advanced degree would be an asset.
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the life sciences industry.
- Strong knowledge of molecular biology, genomics, and related life sciences fields.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales productivity tools.
