**About You**

**About the Position**

The Infant Toddler and ECE positions are responsible for the provision of an early childhood education program in our Infant/Toddler and 3-5 group settings that fosters positive, and emergent learning environments with a focus on the social and emotional well-being of all children. We are an inclusive, multicultural, dynamic and collaborative child care setting which includes working with other educators to plan and implement a progressive and innovative program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, BC Early Learning Framework in concert with the values of FHNH. Other responsibilities include developing strong and collaborative relationships and communication with children, families and colleagues.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Infant Toddler and/or ECE Certificates
- Ability to provide programming based on the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach and BC’s ELF
- Strength in building and maintaining supportive and collaborative partnerships with children of all abilities, families, and colleagues
- Creativity, initiative, flexibility, compassion, sense of joy,and enthusiasm
- Passion for ongoing professional development and growth
- Strong planning, organizational, leadership and communication skills

**Hours**:This is a regular full time position at 35hours/week, Monday to Friday rotating shfits from opening to closing. There will also be some evening workshops/meetings.

**Salary & Benefits**:Competitive benefits package including group medical and pension; 3 weeks vacation, sick time, and exceptional professional development opportunities.

Hourly Salary: $21.36-$22.11 (Salary Band C2), or Infant Toddler qualifications $22.43-$23.21 (Salary Band C3) depending on skills and experience level. This position qualifies for the additional $4.00 WE.

We acknowledge that our houses, camp and central services office are situated on the stolen, traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the Coast Salish people including the Musqueam, Squamish, Semiahmoo, Kwantlen, Tsleil-Waututh, Kwikwetlem, Tsawwassen and Sto:lo Nations.
