**IT Technician**

**Overview**

Dare Technology Inc is seeking an experienced **IT Technician** with a minimum of 3-5 years in the field to join our team. You will provide comprehensive services to our customers, supporting them and introducing innovative solutions to environmental challenges. This role requires someone who can work independently and collaboratively with our installation team as needed.

**Responsibilities**
- Network Management_
- Provide onsite and remote support for hardware and software issues across Windows, Linux, and Hypervisor environments.
- Set up and maintain networks and VLANs, ensuring reliable LAN and WAN connectivity.
- Configure and maintain VPN connections and servers for remote users.
- Monitor and manage firewall settings to ensure network security.
- Hardware and Software Support_
- Source, service, and maintain servers and workstations.
- Prepare and maintain IT equipment, including printers and peripherals.
- Set up and maintain security equipment, including NVRs and cameras.
- Troubleshoot and service radio links across customer networks using monitoring tools.
- Administrative and Team Support_
- Manage Active Directory and Exchange servers, including onsite and hybrid cloud configurations.
- Manage and maintain basic SharePoint sites.
- Create and respond to tickets using our PSA system, prioritizing timely resolution.
- Provide support to our installation team as needed.
- Technical Skills_
- Experience with cabling and terminating RJ-45, RJ-11, and RJ-50 connectors.
- Basic understanding of serial cabling (an asset; training provided).
- Familiarity with Ubiquiti products (radio and networking) is a plus.
- Understanding of scales, load cells, and RFID systems is an asset (training provided).

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3-5 years of IT support experience.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, LAN/WAN configurations, and desktop/server support.
- CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent certifications preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Strong communication skills for assisting users with varying technical knowledge.
- Valid driver's license required for onsite support visits.

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

**Experience**:

- LAN: 3 years (required)

- Active Directory: 1 year (preferred)
