CMF Group is a growing company working within the Automotive, Manufacturing, Petro-Chemical, Food, and Energy industries. CMF Group is an international multi-trade industrial contractor signatory with Union Millwrights and Ironworkers.

The Detailer supports projects by creating a 3D model, assembly drawings, erection diagrams from client specifications, layout drawings, design sketches or from other verbal instructions. Using 3D modeling software, the detailer provides assembly drawings to the shop for fabrication and erection diagrams and other information to Field Services for construction, all within tight and shifting deadlines.
- **Responsibilities**:

- Review and interpret drawings and other documentation to determine information required for drafting.
- Perform structural modeling and detailing from both in-house designed and externally provided engineering packages.
- Develop shop and erection drawings for miscellaneous and structural steel.
- Prepare detail drawings of beams, columns, girts, joists, stairs, handrails, and connections.
- Provide technical clarifications to shop personnel.
- Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications, design data and building codes, and ensure any changes in scope are reported to the Project Manager.
- Perform site visits, attend meetings with engineers and technicians, and facilitate communication with clients.
- Initiate and prepare RFI's (Request For Information) and follow-up as needed.
- Prepare jewelry files for laser Cutting.
- Assist with files for bending / forming.
- **Requirements**:

- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks
- Strong knowledge of drafting techniques and principles
- Excellent communications skills to maintain frequent contact with general contractors and other outside parties for clarification and/or explanation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural and architectural design drawings.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 44 per week

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 2 years (required)
