MPP Graydon Smith’s constituency office in Bracebridge, Ontario is searching for a dedicated and results driven individual to join the team in the role of Stakeholder Relations Advisor.

Key Accountabilities
- Support office staff in developing, maintaining, and enhancing strong and effective relationships with a broad network of local and regional stakeholders.
- Accountable for providing coordination of planning and delivery of events including event logistics, operations, communications, registration and promotion, technical support and on-site activities.
- Proactively identify opportunities for MPP’s participation in stakeholder events, including conferences, webinars, roundtables and tours.
- Coordinate and support exhibitors, committee members, speakers, moderators, and participants.
- Maintain a focus on continuous improvement, including staying abreast of key developments in the riding and maintaining a knowledge of community objectives and priorities.
- Develop and distribute digital and print promotional materials.
- Staff the MPP at community events, meetings and tours.
- Perform other duties as required.

Knowledge & Skills
- Demonstrated experience within the fields of public affairs, government relations or stakeholder relationship management.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships that encourage cooperation and engagement.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment and able to engage colleagues across departments.
- Experience writing content for social media, newsletters, and other communications channels.
- Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in different settings.

**Qualifications**:

- A university degree or college diploma in political science, public affairs, public relations, communications, journalism, or other relevant combination of education and experience.
- 1 to 3 years of related experience.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).

Salary & Benefits

This is a full-time position based in Bracebridge, ON with competitive salary, benefits and pension plan.

**Salary**: $15.50-$40.25 per hour

- Secondary School (required)
