**Responsibilities**:
At Tritech, we aim to provide opportunities that are challenging, fast-paced, that effectively utilize the skills of our team members, and provide variety in day-to-day tasks.

The job responsibilities for this role includes:

- Driving company vehicles
- Assisting with compaction, loading and moving of fill.
- Documenting daily logs for all inspections and maintenance work done on equipment.
- Communicating with ground crews using hand signals and voice.
- Cleaning & lubricating equipment.
- Refilling equipment tanks.
- Performing pre-operational inspections, hazard assessments, and safety checks.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
- Performing various manual labor tasks to support mechanical/civil operations.
- Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
- Maintaining a clean worksite by removing unwanted materials from construction sites.
- Installing miscellaneous metals (stairs, platforms, handrails, and pipe supports).
- Cut pipes to required lengths.
- Bevel, align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing.
- Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.
- Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement, or glue
- Install fittings, restraints, valves and cathodic protection
- Cover pipes with bedding and completion compaction to project specifications
- Assisting with the installation of underground process and plumbing piping systems (HDPE, PVC, Ductile Iron, Steel, Copper etc.) ranging from ½” - 60” diameter.
- Assisting with the installation of process equipment (pumps, mixers, blowers, compressors, gates, valves).
- Using power tools and machinery when needed.
- Being accountable, responsible & take ownership.
- Being safety conscious and follow safety policies and procedures.
- Providing a safe work environment through continuous training and development.
- Operating with honesty, integrity and respect.

**Requirements**:

- BC driver's license, personal vehicle, and clean driver record
- Able and willing to perform physical labor activities.
- Completion of the Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) or SiteReadyBC or willingness to complete.
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
- Knowledge of safe hoisting and rigging procedures.
- Underground pipelaying experience with PVC, Ductile Iron, Steel and HDPE Pipe
- Experience working on an active construction site considered a asset
- Pipefitting and plumbing experience is an asset
- Experience working with a variety of hand and power tools and machinery.
