**CABINET MAKER**

Due to growth within our company, **we are seeking cabinet makers to join our production team in Hawkesville **(just outside of Waterloo). Our cabinetmakers are integral members of the Chervin family and facilitate a key step in the journey of bringing our client’s dreams to life. Chervin’s cabinet makers bring attention to detail and quality craftsmanship into every Chervin product.

This is a full-time position with 44 hours a week. Wage commensurate with experience. Benefits are provided after the 3-month probationary period.

Since 1991, Chervin has been **designing, manufacturing, and installing high-end custom cabinetry** in homes across Waterloo Region. Over the years, Chervin has expanded to serve the GTA and Muskoka region. Chervin has also built and acquired 4 sister companies which have given us the opportunity to be a key player in the markets for luxury hotel furniture, residential furniture, custom upholstered furniture, and home décor.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Operate modern woodworking machinery to produce accurate parts for assembly
- Complete final sanding and assembly of high-end custom residential cabinetry
- Install hardware (hinges, pullout systems, etc.) to finished cabinetry, as per specs provided by engineering
- Wrap and label trim, panels, and fillers to ensure safe transportation during delivery
- Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- Ability to read and discern blueprints
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs
- A general understanding of basic woodworking tools
- A keen attention to detail

- **BONUS**: 2+ years general wood working experience (not required)
