Reporting to the Marketing Director, this position will help support marketing programs and day-to-day business needs. The Marketing Coordinator performs a diverse range of marketing related functions including the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, managing the company’s digital presence, creation and management of sales collateral, assisting with trade shows, conducting market research, and other marketing related duties as assigned.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies and tactics. Track, prepare, and deliver reports on marketing programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate business development as well as participation in conferences, trade shows and promotional activities.
- Assist with creation and execution of client events and represent I-XL at events when required.
- Undertake market research, analyze trends, determine needs and expectations of target markets, potential clients, and recommend strategies to meet needs.
- Develop promotional materials for external publication, including trade magazines, and community involvement projects.
- Manage and grow I-XL social media channels (IG, FB, LinkedIn, and Pinterest).
- Assist and coordinate marketing initiatives, including product launches, promotions, special events, and projects.
- Research, analyze and report on marketing campaigns, market trends and sales activities.
- Assist with general administrative tasks.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Degree or diploma in marketing/digital media/communications or related discipline is desired.
- 2 years’ experience working in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in writing customer-facing communications.
- Copywriting experience is preferred.
- Experience with content creation for website and social media channels.
- Well-developed research skills; able to gather, analyze and evaluate a variety of data.
- Photography experience is a bonus.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Great multi-tasker with the ability to manage, prioritize and deliver/execute multiple tasks, projects and assignments effectively and efficiently.
- Energetic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Highly effective teamwork skills with a can-do attitude.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
