**Responsibilities of the Molder Operator Operator**:

- Start, set up and/or adjust casting, molding or pressing machines
- Operate mold presses and extrusion line to mold parts.
- Inspect castings and core slots according to quality standards
- Measure products to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Clean and lubricate casting machines and dies
- Repair and/or replace worn or defective machine parts and dies
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to processing equipment.
- Load metal ingots or aluminum bars into melting furnace and transfer molten metal to die casting machine bin.
- Other duties as assigned

**Technical Skills**
- Good at adhering to strict safety guidelines and aware of safety hazards.
- Experience and working knowledge of mechanical technical skills to perform the operation and effectively read documents such as specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints.
- Proficient in troubleshooting techniques to assist in resolving machine issues.
- Strong attention to detail and following instructions
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work as a team due to constant interactions with employees, engineers, plant managers, and parts suppliers, among others.

**Occupational Health and Safety Skills**
- Demonstrate responsibility in the use of personal protective equipment according to occupational health and safety guidelines.
- Lift, lower, kneel, push 30 to 45 pounds of weight
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Climbing stairs

Pay: $23.50-$27.75 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Floor Molder: 5 years (preferred)
